Avoid Getting Sick this Rainy Season

I have coughs and colds due to the weather that always changes here. In the morning until noon, its a hot and sunny day but in the afternoon, a sudden heavy rainfall comes and that what made me sick this time. I just hate it when I sneeze several times and I have to blow my nose so hard and do the coughing. I have to avoid getting sick and I have to stay healthy and sickness-free during this cold and rainy days.

So what I need and We need to do is we have to eat well and be healthy because it will help boost our immune system. We need the extra energy to keep warm and alert because during these cold rainy days, our bodies tend to produce more heat to keep us well. Fresh fruits like apples, grapes, oranges, lemon and others rich in vitamin C will do the trick. Besides, they could even be cheaper and more fun to eat than those artificially-synthesized vitamin tablets and capsules.

We have to sleep plenty and rest well  since sleeping during this cold rainy nights is a wonderful thing to do. It encourages us to get some well deserved rest and sleep from work, traveling, studying and blogging. Don’t forget, a good sleep has always given us that much needed boost that we wake up refreshed and full of energy.

Bring an umbrella  or something that will  keep us dry and warm and less susceptible to common illnesses like colds and flu.

Bring a hanky or a towel  is a Must because this comes handy when you leave behind your umbrella at home or somewhere else. More importantly, use it to wipe dry your hands after handling your wet often dirty umbrella especially before eating meals. Most of all, use it to cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze. It’s not only polite, but it’s hygienic.

Getting sick during the rainy season is a frequent occurrence. But we must always stay protected. Remember," Bawal Magkasakit".
