Slow Growing Hair

I just love looking at those kiddie girls who has a nice long hair that's why I also want my daughter to have a lovely long hair too. But sad to say, she has a slow growing hair. Since she was a baby, people would thought its a boy since she a little hair growing on her head.As you can see from the photo above, I did not cut her hair since birth until today. She is now 3 years old and still has a short hair.

I believe that slow growing hair or a lack of hair was because it is hereditary since my hubby has a slow growing hair since he was a child. I have an easy growing hair so definitely its my hubby where my daughter inherit this one.

On other case, occasionally some children who seem to be bald or have little hair can have a permanent problem with hair growth. There are several rare conditions which can be present at birth or develop in the first few months of life. Most are genetic but parents are not always affected.Although coconut and olive oil will help keep my daughter's hair moisturized, there is still no specific treatment for thickening the hair or making it grow faster.
