Dazzling Christmas Lights at Carmen, Agusan del Norte

Image
During December, specially when we are attending a church conference or mentoring in Butuan City, we always stop by at The Municipal Hall of Carmen in Agusan del Norte because of their eye-catching Christmas lights decoration. It has been gaining an attention for tourists because of its Disneyland-inspired Christmas decor that lights up the night.   Here are some of our photos. :)    People from nearby towns and even other provinces always look forward to this much-awaited event this holiday season. Locals and tourists are greeted by a crown-like image made of Christmas lights at the entrance. Colorful lights outline the entire structure of the municipal hall. Even trees have decorations too.     It never fails to gather people from neighboring towns during this time of the year. :)

The foods are deliciously good and it has a cool native ambiance as well.   Located along Buena Oro Road in Upper Macasandig. It is just a 5-minute drive from Corpus Christi-Macasandig and a bit further from Kambingan sa Buena Oro.  Here are some views of the restaurant:    The restaurant isn’t just all about lechon, it also serves classic Filipino dishes like Humba, Sisig, Chicken Adobo, Pork Adobo, Kare-Kare, Fresh Lumpia, Kinilaw, Fish Fillet, Lechon Paksiw, Chopsuey, Pancit, Halang-halang and many others. They have different menu for the day so be sure to check them out!   The buffet is only P199 with a glass of ice tea or juice. Buffets are served during lunch (11am
