The much-awaited reopening of the local movie theater by homegrown mall, Limketkai Center, is finally here. After months of speculation, the grand reopening of the cinema was announced by homegrown mall, Limketkai Center on its Facebook page.  The mall renovated and reopened the cinema on July 12, 2023 after it closed its doors during the pandemic.  The cinema will be featuring film from Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning.  The local cinema scene just got bigger with the return of this beloved local movie house. Cagayan de Oro City's new riverside infra+attraction, the 2-lane River Boulevard is now open to the public.  The newly-inaugurated Cagayan de Oro River Boulevard is still off limits to vehicles but open for pedestrians. The new boulevard will be guarded round-the-clock by policemen and private security guards of the constructor of the project. The 2.5-kilometer boulevard was funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency as part of the Cagayan de Oro River Flood Risk Management Project.
