Cagayan de Oro City's new riverside infra+attraction, the 2-lane River Boulevard is now open to the public.  The newly-inaugurated Cagayan de Oro River Boulevard is still off limits to vehicles but open for pedestrians. The new boulevard will be guarded round-the-clock by policemen and private security guards of the constructor of the project. The 2.5-kilometer boulevard was funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency as part of the Cagayan de Oro River Flood Risk Management Project.
