Bigby’s SM CDO Downtown Premier: It's Where Your Food Adventure Starts!

Image
Our family bonding always starts with food adventures so when I heard that Bigby's will open its 3rd home here in CDO, I got pretty excited because we'll gonna have a new place to dine in with. :)  The Bigby’s Café Concept was first introduced in the city of Cagayan de Oro on December 8, 1998. Its creators came up with an idea of creating an atmosphere fit for an adventure into the different cuisines of the world. The menu, the interior design and service style were created to position the concept midway between fine dining and fast-casual dining. This format has developed into the Bigby’s Café and Restaurant System.  By 1999, Bigby’s Café and Restaurant was revolutionizing the dining habits in the city. Families, young urban professionals, and businessmen have made it into their ultimate dining choice. The concept has evolved into a fun dining atmosphere that is manifested through its unique “worldly” decors that hang on every wall that are complemented by t

Unlimited Lechon at the House of Native Lechon

I was curious to try the unlimited lechon at The House of Native Lechon so I went there together with my family. It is actually the only buffet restaurant in Cagayan de Oro City that offers unlimited lechon. It was our first time to dine in and yes, it did not fail my expectations. The foods are deliciously good and it has a cool native ambiance as well.   Located along Buena Oro Road in Upper Macasandig. It is just a 5-minute drive from Corpus Christi-Macasandig and a bit further from Kambingan sa Buena Oro.  Here are some views of the restaurant:    The restaurant isn’t just all about lechon, it also serves classic Filipino dishes like Humba, Sisig, Chicken Adobo, Pork Adobo, Kare-Kare, Fresh Lumpia, Kinilaw, Fish Fillet, Lechon Paksiw, Chopsuey, Pancit, Halang-halang and many others. They have different menu for the day so be sure to check them out!   The buffet is only P199 with a glass of ice tea or juice. Buffets are served during lunch (11am

Brick Oven Pizza's Deliciously Made at Oliver's Pizza!

Craving for Pizza?  Well, here's a pizza place to go that my family and I had discovered and it's considered as one of the Top Pizzerias in CDO!     When my mom and my stepdad spent their holiday with us a few weeks ago, one of the things that we love to do is to eat, eat and eat! Yes, we love food trippin'! and because of that, when my stepdad craved for some pizza, I've introduced Oliver's Pizza to them. (My stepdad is a Swiss guy so he knows what the real  Italian pizza tastes like).     It was our first time to visit the pizza place and tasted their incredibly delicious pizza and boy! It never failed our expectations! It tastes really good!  talking with the very friendly and accommodating owner himself, Mr. Oliver :)  What makes Oliver's Pizza different from the others is that it uses the wood-fired brick oven in baking which gives an authentic taste of Italian cuisine. It's all natural and it's all made with fre
