Our family bonding always starts with food adventures so when I heard that Bigby's will open its 3rd home here in CDO, I got pretty excited because we'll gonna have a new place to dine in with. :)  The Bigby’s Café Concept was first introduced in the city of Cagayan de Oro on December 8, 1998. Its creators came up with an idea of creating an atmosphere fit for an adventure into the different cuisines of the world. The menu, the interior design and service style were created to position the concept midway between fine dining and fast-casual dining. This format has developed into the Bigby’s Café and Restaurant System.  By 1999, Bigby’s Café and Restaurant was revolutionizing the dining habits in the city. Families, young urban professionals, and businessmen have made it into their ultimate dining choice. The concept has evolved into a fun dining atmosphere that is manifested through its unique “worldly” decors that hang on every wall that are complemented by t

Unlimited Lechon at the House of Native Lechon

Image
I was curious to try the unlimited lechon at The House of Native Lechon so I went there together with my family. It is actually the only buffet restaurant in Cagayan de Oro City that offers unlimited lechon. It was our first time to dine in and yes, it did not fail my expectations. The foods are deliciously good and it has a cool native ambiance as well.   Located along Buena Oro Road in Upper Macasandig. It is just a 5-minute drive from Corpus Christi-Macasandig and a bit further from Kambingan sa Buena Oro.  Here are some views of the restaurant:    The restaurant isn’t just all about lechon, it also serves classic Filipino dishes like Humba, Sisig, Chicken Adobo, Pork Adobo, Kare-Kare, Fresh Lumpia, Kinilaw, Fish Fillet, Lechon Paksiw, Chopsuey, Pancit, Halang-halang and many others. They have different menu for the day so be sure to check them out!   The buffet is only P199 with a glass of ice tea or juice. Buffets are served during lunch (11am

Image
Me and my family are certified cat lovers. We have lots of cats here at home. They are our furry babies! So when I heard about a new cat themed resto in the city, I am excited to check out what it looks like! :) So my daughter and I visited MEOW CDO.  It is the first cat-themed restaurant which is located along Corrales-Dolores Streets just right across FICCO.  It is just what every cat lover wants! Having the time to play with cats and of course eating good food.     Aside from their lovable cats, you can also get to enjoy their wide variety of food from rice meals, snacks, desserts to drinks.  We will surely go back to try their budget meals!     The resto has 2 separate closed rooms. One is mainly for dining with small tables and chairs, and the other room is the "Cat Zone" where the cats room is located at. We chose these room where we get to interact  and play with the cats.   Here are some of their cutie furry felines! :)
