Getting Rid of Head Lice with Licealiz

Image
Head lice infestation is a common problem especially among school-aged children...and my daughter is one of those kids who has been struggling with the itchiness caused by head lice. I know like many of us, while growing up we learned about the various home remedies for head lice, from using "suyod" to even applying insect spray (that's what we apply) on my daughter's hair and scalp. I still believe in using suyod but I think it can’t solve the problem alone. We already have modern and effective ways to get rid of lice, like anti-lice shampoo.  After doing some research and also asking for recommendation from a pharmacist, I've decided to use LiceAliz. I believe it's very safe and effective, plus also quite convenient to use.I read about the active ingredient in LiceAliz, which is pyrethrin. I found out that it’s a natural ingredient made from chrysanthemum flowers. Following the instructions for using LiceAliz is also easy, since we can use it like

Our children really loves to explore, discover, observe and learn new things. As parents, we also want to provide them with the right kind of toys that will not only keep them entertained, but will also enhance their mental abilities. There are a number of such educational toys for all age groups available in the market today. Kids specially toddlers and preschoolers has a strong sense of curiosity and inquisitiveness. They learn a lot by observing the different objects around them that's why live habitat toys help them to learn about the animals by watching them in their live habitats. Puzzles, jigsaws, construction toys, arts and crafts materials, and reading and coloring books all help stimulate the child’s imagination, creativity and reasoning skills.  If you heard about Little Zen Minds, it is focused on providing safe and high quality educational toys to parents who are searching for ways to enhance their children's development. Pediatric Dental Care for our Kids

As parents, it is important that our child needs to have a teeth treatment as well as a good pediatric dentist that can provide qualitative dental care for our kids. Dentistry for children needs to provide their little patients with the best stuff and the most modernized technology.  Aside from that, it is also important that a children’s dentistry clinic should be an unusual one where children will feel comfortable just like what Pediatric Dental Care is offering to their kiddie patients. Its walls are painted in different warm colors with beautiful designs. They also provide numerous video games, movie theater and play area for our kids to enjoy without the feeling of being scared of the treatment. Starting our children off early with a pediatric care helps in building the trust and factor needed to encourage our child to take good care of their teeth.

Why Christmas is for Children?

Image
It was said that since it's the birth of baby Jesus as a gift to mankind that gave rise to Christmas, then children should also be the primary focus of the season. Most families will say they have always put children first and parents will sacrifice seeking their desires at Christmas to make sure their children are satisfied. I actually agree on that, how about you my fellow dear parents? I believe that toys plays a significant role at Christmas for children. It helps them develop their imagination and other skills.Toys can also help children to play together and learn to share with others. I also believe that children are the focus of Christmas celebrations because it is important to create fond childhood memories. The story of our Lord Jesus Christ about sharing, giving and doing kind deeds for others can also help to build a good character and set a moral foundation that teaches our children to have an empathy and compassion during

Biblical Baby Names

My childhood friend just recently gave birth to a healthy and beautiful baby girl and I was amazed how unique her baby's name is. She named it "Trinity Eyes", I thought she was just describing her baby's eyes but that was indeed her real name. She actually researched on that name because she wanted it to be unique but very Christian so she comes up with the name "Trinity Eyes". Trinity means its a combination of the three holy persona, God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit so "Trinity Eyes" simply means "GOD SEES".  Isn't that a very unique name? Her baby's name reminds me of my daughter's name too since it is also relevant to a Christian names because it is a Biblical name. I named her "Sydelle Clea Alysha" which means " A Princess who sings praises to the God of our Salvation". I also researched on it through the internet because I also like Biblical names.  If you are looking for unusual and

Do You Spank Your Child?

My daughter recently wrecked our DVD player. My hubby was trying to fix it but it can never be fixed. Due to our anger, we spanked her. Every time she did something wrong like when she broke something, doing some messy stuff, and anything that makes us mad and angry, we spanked her. We know it is not good to spank a child but it is our way to discipline her. She knows that its her mistake so she accepts the spank. She cried but after then she kept silent and eventually makes some sweet talk by hugging and kissing us. We will then tell her about her mistake so that she will not do it again. As we all know, spanking is a much debated topic. Most child psychologists do not recommend spanking as a discipline method for children. However, other psychologists and many parents will tell you that a spanking given with fairness, love and care is an effective discipline technique. The decision as to the usefulness of spanking is best made by a child's parents. How about you mo

Why Should We Pray

Image
Prayer is the key to the heart of God. Prayer is the only way to a real and personal relationship with God. We find intimacy with God through communicating with Him in prayer. We go to Him in faith, knowing that He hears and answers all our prayers. Be confident that God knows and wants what is best for us; so ask that His will be done in all we seek from Him. Then, thank Him for it, even though it hasn’t happened yet. ***Photo taken while children are praying for food when we had our Outreach Feeding Program for them*** This is my inspiring entry for Ruby Tuesday

Dental Care for our Children

It is extremely important that we have to understand the basics of children’s dental and oral care so they can have a strong dental habits in the future. We begin to educate ourselves with the various fundamentals of Pediatric Dentistry such as oral hygiene where we let our children brush their teeth twice a day and have a regular dental check ups so they can build a good oral hygiene at an early age. Tooth cavities can be easily be prevented by good oral health. You can use toothpaste that contains fluoride. However, there are some additional steps that can be incurred to maintain our child’s tooth against cavities. Although the children can develop a good oral habits at an early age, it is equally important that they have to break the bad habits like going to bed with a feeding bottle, thumb sucking or the finger sucking habit and even swallowing the tooth paste. In case your child develop cavities in his baby teeth, it is important that you visit a dentist and get his cavities fi
