Campus Ministry

Image
One of the things that makes me busy offline is our church activities where we do have our outreach programs such as Campus Ministry, Children's feeding, Inter Youth fellowship and so much more. It's quite a busy world for me but I enjoyed doing it. Being one of the members of the music team, its not a responsibility but this is my way of showing my gratitude and love for Jesus Christ for all the good and wonderful things that He has done in my life. We thanked the Lord for the lives of this college students who loves to listen to His Word and willing to be used by God.  Our Youth Campus Ministry aims to help the youth to transform their lives by introducing them to Jesus, encourages them to grow in continuous experience of faith and equip them to be capable of communicating their experience to others and thus to become genuine witnesses for new evangelization. True Love Waits

Image
Since our church was headed by a Youth Pastor, most of our church members are young people. We are thankful to God that these teenagers are actively participating in most of our church activities. One of the activities that they are currently participating with is the True Love Waits campaign. It is a youth based international campaign designed to encourage moral purity by adhering to biblical principles. It helps in developing a positive peer pressure by encouraging those who make a commitment to refrain from pre-marital sex and challenge their peers to do the same. True Love Waits was launched to encourage cities to take a unified, community-wide approach in promoting abstinence by involving the church, schools, government, health organizations and many others. This is indeed a great campaign for Filipino youths to connect people with God and His ultimate plan for purity. Love is truly an adventure of pursuing Christ’s best!

We Stand Together

Image
We stand together in prayer And we stand together with our hearts joined as one as we give thanks and praises to God for all He has done.  God brings forth beautiful, spontaneous worship and when blended with prayer, it becomes a powerful weapon of His glory. PhotoHunt - "Standing"

Busy Every Weekend

Image
I'm so sorry guys if I can't visit back your blogs and do the blog hopping specially during weekends because I usually spend my time preparing and practicing songs for our church Sunday service. To those who doesn't know it yet, I am the worship leader of our church music team band.  We spend almost the whole day practicing for some new and old songs that we have to play on Sunday. Our church fellowship starts early and ends at noon time. Then after our service, we do have our rest and nap time. Our business is always close during Sundays. We only open at 5pm. I usually go online at night time till dawn. So don't worry my friends, I always make sure I visit you back. Thanks to you my faithful readers and followers for always dropping by!  God bless you all tremendously and Have a Blessed Weekend!                                                 Greetings and Kisses from us! :)

Our Church Activities

Image
We do have lots of activities from our church. One of them is we have a family day every last week of the month. We bring our own foods and we gather them together so all of us could share each other. Its really such a great family bonding! We  have our weekly Bible study and feeding for kids And we also have Bible study and music practice for our young people since most of them loves to play the music instruments and wants to become a part of our music team.  We thanked God for the strength, the wisdom and the favor that He had given us so we could still continue to do His works by spreading His words and helping these people to have a closer relationship with Him. All the Glory and Honor in Christ Jesus!

Our Father's Day Gift

Image
We are preparing to wrap some gifts for our father members of our church for tomorrow's Father's Day Celebration . It is actually a surprise gift for them. We bought it in ready made personalized mugs at the local shopping stores here and good thing they had a Father's Day Sale that's why we had able to bought several mug items. We must make all efforts to celebrate Father's Day with our Dad. Children staying away from father must especially strive to spend the day with father and show gratitude for all their support and love. We must pamper father by spending the day in a manner he likes most. It could be going out for a picnic or indulging him with a gourmet meal. We can also express love with thoughtful gifts accompanied by a bouquet of his favorite flowers or some personalized items . The idea is to show our affection and tell Daddy how much he is loved and appreciated not just on Father's Day but every single day of our lives.

Father's Day Gift

Image
Last Sunday during our Church Service, we greeted our Father members thinking it was Father's Day but many said that Father's Day will be celebrated next week. Well, its still a good thing since we haven't bought some gifts for them. We are planning to buy a personalized mug with a photo for each of our Father members of our church. We wanted them to feel special and this will serve as a cute and lovely surprise gift for them. Father’s Day is considered extremely important as it help acknowledge the contribution of fathers to individual families and to societies as large. Besides  on the observance of Father's Day, it provides children an opportunity to express love and respect for their fathers. The sentiment goes a long way in strengthening father-child relationship and consequently in the emotional development of a child.

Our Mommy Talks on Birth Control Method and Abortion

Image
After our Church Sunday Service earlier, we had some Mommy talks of my fellow Mommies in the church. We had a new mom of her 3 months old daughter and she wants some advice about taking care of her baby, the do's and dont's and some stages of baby's developments as she grows older. We were all sharing our experiences to her and thus, it helps her a lot as she is still learning what is it to be like a mom for the first time. We were also talking about Birth Control Method since she had also started using Oral Contraceptive Pills . I had also shared my experience since I am using Depo Shot and told her about the good and the bad thing about this Birth Control Option . I had been using this for almost 2 years now and my Og gyne had advised me stop using it since it is not good for my bones and she told me to change to another option like using pills. Another thing is that this injectable method gained me a lot of weight. I just hope that there is a birth control pill that

Please Visit our Church Site and Be Blessed!

Image
A few days ago, Our Young Pastor's wife created a site for our church. She created it using Ning Social Network . It is a social platform networking site where you can share your interests and passions online. I like this site because it is easy to navigate with and if you are a member of a certain group like for example our church, it enables the members to upload and share photos and videos. Automatically it presents the members with the option to embed your Ning Network's branded photo slideshows or video players anywhere on the Web and link back to your Ning Network. Some of the features of Ning includes Chat in real-time, groups, discussion forum, blogs for every member, organize events, RSS Feeds In and RSS Out, a dynamic latest activity feed and music playlist. Please do visit our church, Into the Hands of God Christian Fellowship for the latest photos, videos and church activity and Be Blessed! Thank You and God Bless Us All!
