The online sensation Hey Joe Show recently had their Mall tour at Centrio Ayala Mall here in Cagayan de Oro City last April 30, 2015. They had their meet and greet tour where fans got the chance to meet them in person.  I've also got the chance to meet Sumner, Connor, Jake, Tylan, and Davis in person since I was there during the said event.   Our group the CDO Bloggers joined the celebration for the Annual World Social Media Day as we recognize the revolution of social media and how it has changed our lives. All of us who are into social media could appreciate how it has helped us a lot specially on the opportunities that came on us, the positive impact of our lives, the promotion of prosperity for users, and best of all, the connectivity for all.  A little bit of info on how Social Media Day has started, it was through Mashable, a British-American social media blog launched World Social Media Day in 2010 to recognize social media's growth. In line with the celebration, Mashable organizes Mashable Meetups where social media users have the opportunity to get together and talk about social media and technology offline. Over the years, Social Media Day has established itself as an important forum for industry experts, advertisers and social media enthusiasts to share and exchange their ideas.  

   I attended the Social Media Day yesterday together with my fellow CDO blogger friends, social media enthusiasts and media partners as well. It was a fun day as we celebrate social media in interacting new people online. We have some social media experts who spoke during the event. They shared their experiences as well as tips on how social media has influenced their lives. The speakers also shared how social media has made inroads in advertising, marketing, public relations, governance and politics, advocacy and causes, journalism and media.  Social Media Day is indeed a great day to celebrate the ways in which social media has changed our lives for the better. It’s celebrated around the world and it's a chance to interact and meet new people that you’re engaging with online. I could say that Social Media has changed our lives both in the way we do business but also in the way we socialize.
